They Lost Their Looks, But Persevered

"I loved myself more." Leslie Mouton's career as a TV anchor revolved around looking good — but when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she faced the harsh reality of losing her hair. Bald and beautiful, Leslie says that her experience has helped her grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically. "Many of us hide behind the exterior," she says, "because we're scared to look at the interior."
